Lori Larson, K2 President of the Americas and a member of the K2 global executive board, has for the 5th consecutive year been recognized in SIA’s Global Power 150 – Women in Staffing List 2021. The Global Power 150 list is a way to recognize women in leadership positions and to increase visibility for the important contributions influencers such as Lori have made across the industry.
These honorees have helped to shape a $445 billion global staffing industry while paving the way for a more equitable future of work. The 2021 list includes 26 women who are being named to the list for the first time and spotlights many women for their efforts to uplift varied communities by knocking down barriers to their advancement while providing them with employment opportunities through new and tested methods.
Lori Larson said: “It is an honor to be recognized again this year alongside this extraordinary group of strong female leaders who are each transforming our industry and creating the future of work. Thank you Staffing Industry Analysts and Bullhorn for this amazing recognition on the 2021 Global Power 150 Women in Staffing list, we appreciate all you do for our industry.
Commenting on this year’s honorees, Subadhra Sriram, Editor & Publisher, Media Products at SIA, said: “Through the compilation of the 2021 Global Power 150 – Women in Staffing list, we see that despite great odds, the women in our industry are actively advocating for equality in the workplace for other women, as well as historically excluded groups, by mentoring and developing training and other programs and partnerships to lift each other up. The progress may be slow and results yet unseen, but the first steps have been taken. And this is a huge step forward for the ecosystem as we move towards a more inclusive and diverse world of work.”
“The executives on this list continually rise to the challenge, in times of crisis and growth, to navigate market conditions and provide a role model for tomorrow’s leaders,” said Art Papas, Founder and CEO of Bullhorn, sponsor of the SIA Global Power 150 – Women in Staffing list. “It’s an honor to help recognize their achievements and ongoing industry impact.”
