Each year Salesforce hosts a small number World Tour events in major cities across the world, most recently in London and Paris. Thousands of people attend to network and to be inspired by trailblazing innovators who are using Salesforce, as well as world-class thought leaders. Comparatively, there are a greater number of Basecamps around the globe, giving local customers and partners the opportunity to attend smaller versions of the World Tours without having to travel as far.

Throughout Germany, professionals have been enjoying the annual Salesforce Basecamp events, including members of the K2 University team. The vast number of attendees meant that there was great potential for the team to spread the word about K2 University, a Salesforce Authorised Training Provider in Germany, Austria, Switzerland Brazil and Japan. Our certified trainers conduct first-class classroom and online courses for Salesforce admins, developers, business users and marketers.

Camilla Swan, K2 University’s Operations Manager (DACH), recently attended the Basecamp events that took place across Germany in [month/s] and commented –

‘Basecamps are a great opportunity for us to spread the word about K2 University and give people more detail about our offering and let them know how we could support their company goals and strategies by providing training for their employees. We hope to see some Basecamp attendees in our forthcoming courses sometime soon!’

Each Basecamp consisted of two keynotes, led by Salesforce professionals and featured success stories. Attendees had the opportunity to network in the numerous break out sessions. There were also ‘battles’, which consisted of two teams of experts competing in front of an audience to find the best solution to a real digital challenge set by a Salesforce customer.

The topics of this year’s Basecamps have ranged from Einstein Analytics, through to how businesses can capitalise on the Fourth Industrial Revolution. To close the event each Basecamp holds an unmissable evening concert. In Germany, the attendees had the chance to enjoy German stars, such as Jan Delay and Nena!

The K2 University team attended the following  Basecamps in Germany:

Mainz – 12th March

Münich – 7th May

Berlin – 22nd May

Düsseldorf – 18th June

Attending the German Salesforce Basecamps gave the team great opportunities to not only showcase K2 University but also to discover important insights and updates regarding the Salesforce ‘Ohana’.

If you didn’t get a chance to attend any of the Salesforce Basecamp events listed above, there are other events taking place during the year across the USA and EMEA.
