This month the K2 Consultant of the Month is Konrad Russa, a Salesforce Developer. Read his interview below:

1. Tell us a little bit about yourself.

My name is Konrad and I’m based in Warsaw, Poland. I am interested in life sciences, computer science, business, engineering and programming.

I started working with the Salesforce platform in 2011. Since then I have been working on multiple domains with various clients, learning from them and gaining valuable experience. This has been invaluable in solving the complex problems that have arisen throughout my current project.

2. Tell us a little about your most recent K2 project.

My most recent project is with a client in the automotive industry. Currently, I’m working on a Sales Platform and Customer Journey that allows customers to buy their dream Genesis motor. The project includes the integration of various systems, User Interfaces and actions that improve the sales process. It is giving customers a better experience when receiving quotations, contracts and support. They can also see all of the details about their car configuration.

3. What do you enjoy most about your job?

I enjoy dynamic projects with clear goals and approaches. It is also important to have a strong focus on the end-customer and product. This is a great motivator for me.

I also enjoy exchanging ideas with teams so that we can work together to build and improve products.

4. Which technical development do you think will have the biggest impact on your field or the wider world of IT over the next couple of years?

My interests in the tech industry and programming languages indicate to me that a new standard of C++20 will give a great boost to either IoT and edge solutions or vehicles and other machine domains.

5. What advice would you give to someone who is starting out as a freelance IT consultant?

If you throw yourself into your clients’ projects and work to keep up to date with the latest developments in the tech industry, your career will be a great adventure.
