In 3 weeks (25-28 of September) more than 170, 000 Trailblazers and Salesforce customers will make the pilgrimage to San Francisco to attend the biggest IT event in the world. Even more people will be around the city for all the festivities that comes along with Dreamforce. Last year former First Lady of the United States, Michelle Obama and Actor Ashton Kutcher were among the high profile speakers along with CEOs, entrepreneurs and Salesforce innovators.

Naturally, not everyone can attend the full event, it can be costly, especially if you live outside the US. But if you can’t make it to Dreamforce this year, don’t worry, nhere are three ways for you to attend without getting out of pocket.

  • Stream it live

Last year a staggering 10 million viewers tuned in for the latest news and keynote speakers via Stream Live during the 4 days. You will also be able to view on demand if you are in another timezone or just busy with you know, work.

Interested in seeing how it all played out last year? Walk down memory lane and watch 2017’s highlights: https://www.salesforce.com/video/

Salesforce normally launches the link for the Live Stream sign up a week before the event, keep yourself updated via: https://www.salesforce.com/dreamforce/

  • Follow on social media

Salesforce has never been  silent on social media but during Dreamforce their channels are rocking. To start, follow the latest news from Dreamforce and the run-up, go and follow Salesforce on Twitter and LinkedIn. Other accounts to follow include Salesforce’s CEO Marc Benioff @Benioff and another 25 Sales Influencers to Follow on Twitter to keep you up to date with the latest news from the event.

Be sure to watch for the following hashtags #Dreamforce #DF18 #Trailblazer #TrailblazerCommunity #Salesforce on LinkedIin and Twitter to see what the attendees are writing about Dreamforce.

There’s no time to lose! Go in and start following!

  • Join Free Expo Area and outside events

If you’re able to make it to San Francisco or you live in the area, the whole city will be overflowing with Dreamforce and Salesforce related events. There are many companies that set up free networking events at bars around San Francisco. K2 has their annual event at B Bar on 27th of September, reach me at ekindeland@k2partnering.com to register and meet with K2 University and talk about your Salesforce career. Of course, there are other great parties and smaller events around the Moscone Center. You can find some of them here; Ultimate Dreamforce Parties 2018 (but feel free to Google for others).

You also have a great Free Expo area where you can register for to get a free pass. At this even you will;

  • Meet Salesforce product experts, test drive thousands of solutions, and get to know hundreds of partners at the Customer Success Expo.
  • Learn about the latest innovations at select product and industry keynotes.
  • Network with fellow Trailblazers in the Dreamforest and enjoy live music featuring local bands.

I am super excited for Dreamforce this year and can’t wait to see what surprises lay in store! If you are attending Dreamforce and want to set up a meeting then feel free to get in touch via email ekindeland@k2partnering.com or connect me on Linkedin and ping me a message. Hope to see you at Metallica!

Feel free to reach out to me on LinkedIn if you have any further questions on Dreamforce 2018.
