Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced, hands-on QA Automation Engineer with deep technical expertise in Tricentis Tosca to build, scale, and maintain automated testing suites across our core business applications (including e-commerce platforms, ERP, CRM, and supply chain modules).

In this role, you will be directly responsible for designing reusable test modules, creating robust end-to-end automation scripts, and integrating tests into our CI/CD pipelines. The ideal candidate combines strong technical mastery of Tosca’s model-based testing framework with a passion for driving software quality in fast-paced retail or digital commerce environments.

Key Responsibilities

Test Creation & Execution: Design, build, and maintain automated test scripts using Tricentis Tosca across enterprise web, mobile, API, and backend applications.

Framework Maintenance: Build standardized, highly reusable Tosca modules, test sheets, and execution lists following model-based automation best practices.

CI/CD & DEX Integration: Configure and run automated test suites using Tosca Distributed Execution (DEX) and integrate test runs directly into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).

Test Data Management (TDM): Create and manage test data within Tosca to support continuous, non-destructive automated testing across multiple environments.

API & Integration Testing: Perform end-to-end testing, including REST/SOAP API validations and database checks, to ensure seamless cross-system workflows.

Defect Triage & Reporting: Identify, log, and track software defects; collaborate directly with developers and product teams to reproduce issues and verify fixes.

Agile Collaboration: Participate actively in sprint planning, refinement, and daily standups to review user stories, define test scenarios, and identify automation candidates early.

Required Skills

Experience: 5+ years in Software Quality Assurance with 2–3+ years of dedicated, hands-on experience building and executing test suites using Tricentis Tosca.

2+ Years of ecommerce industry experience / preferably Shopify 

Execution & CI/CD: Demonstrated experience running tests via Tosca DEX and triggering automation within CI/CD toolchains (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, etc.).

Technical Domain: Hands-on experience testing web applications, REST/SOAP APIs, mobile apps, and enterprise platforms (ERP/CRM).

Process: Strong background working as an individual contributor in Agile/Scrum delivery teams.

Nice-to-Have:

Domain experience in retail, (e.g., Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Shopify, SAP Commerce), or supply chain applications.

Exposure to complementary test tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Postman).

Hands-on experience using test management tools like Jira/Xray or Azure DevOps Test Plans.
