Remote in European Union

Project Overview:

Our enterprise client is launching a high-visibility global project to streamline compliance across approximately 50,000 international business trips per year (addressing cross-border tax, posted workers/A1, visa, and immigration requirements).

An external vendor has been selected via RFP to configure and deploy a dedicated travel compliance platform that will integrate via API into the client's internal HR/IT architecture. The client's internal Business Lead will handle overall executive decision-making and top-level stakeholder alignment. We are seeking a senior, hands-on Project Manager to drive day-to-day operations, lead cross-functional workstreams, and enforce rigorous PMO governance and timeline execution.

Key Responsibilities:

– Workstream & Execution Management: Drive daily project delivery across business, HR, and vendor workstreams to ensure milestones are met on schedule.

– PMO & Governance Alignment: Coordinate closely with the HR Function PMO and HRIT, adhering strictly to enterprise project management standards, tracking, and reporting frameworks.

– Vendor & Integration Tracking: Oversee the external tool implementation partner and liaise with internal IT teams on API integration milestones and system dependencies.

– Operational Readiness: Ensure documentation, process mapping, and operational handover align with business compliance requirements (Note: Dedicated Change Management is out of scope for this role).

Candidate Profile & Requirements:

– Proven Project Management: Extensive track record managing large-scale global enterprise initiatives with strong methodology expertise.

– Global Mobility Background: Direct domain experience within Global Mobility, Corporate Travel, or Cross-Border Compliance (Posted Workers, Visas, Tax) is a very strong bonus.

– Stage-Gate Experience: Practical experience with formal Gate Methodology / Stage-Gate governance models is strongly preferred.

– HR Domain Experience: Solid background delivering projects within enterprise HR functions.

– Technical & Tool Literacy: Strong conceptual understanding of IT integration frameworks (APIs, SaaS configurations). Hands-on experience delivering travel/expense solutions (e.g., SAP Concur or dedicated compliance platforms) is a major plus.

– Communication & Collaboration: Excellent cross-functional coordination skills, bridging HR, business operations, IT, and external vendors seamlessly.
