Mission Context

As part of a global SAP S/4HANA transformation program, our client is looking for a senior SAP CO Lead Consultant to drive the Controlling workstream. The consultant will operate in a lean team environment and will be expected to combine leadership responsibilities with hands-on configuration and delivery activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the SAP Controlling (CO) workstream within the S/4HANA program.
• Act as the main point of contact for business stakeholders and project teams.
• Gather and challenge business requirements and translate them into SAP solutions.
• Design, configure, test, and deploy SAP CO functionalities.
• Coordinate integration activities with Finance and other SAP workstreams.
• Support data migration, testing, cutover, and hypercare activities.
• Provide guidance and mentoring to junior team members.
• Contribute to project governance, planning, and status reporting.

Required Skills & Expertise

• Strong experience as SAP CO Lead Consultant on large-scale SAP programs.
• Hands-on expertise in SAP Controlling configuration and implementation.
• Proven experience with SAP S/4HANA.
• Strong knowledge of:
  • Cost Center Accounting (CCA)
  • Internal Orders
  • Profit Center Accounting (PCA)
  • Product Costing
  • Cost Object Controlling
  • Profitability Analysis (CO-PA)
• Experience working in global and complex business environments.
• Strong integration knowledge with SAP FI and other Finance processes.
• Experience supporting testing, cutover, and go-live activities.

• Senior consultant with lead experience but willing to remain operational and hands-on.
• Comfortable working in a small, agile team environment.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Autonomous, pragmatic, and delivery-oriented.
• Fluent English mandatory.
