The position is responsible for software development on Power Builder and strong database programming skills on SQL Server / Oracle. This position is for the requirement of migration of several application of Power Builder 12.5 to Power Builder 2017 for a major manufacturing site. The project timeline is for about 6 to 9 months.

Requirements

·     10 + years of development in Power Builder is mandatory

·     10+ years of database programming. SQL Server preferred.

·     Prior experience of Power Builder migration to version 2017 is a plus

·     Strong Analytical and Technical Skills

·     Demonstrate ability in analyzing and resolving complex technical issues

·     Excellent people skills and strong problem-solving skills

·     Good customer service and interpersonal skills as you will be interacting with management and employees at all levels

·     Understanding of Project Management Concepts

·     Consultant to be on site during this project phase

·     Prior usage on Microsoft Team Foundation Server, Git, TortoiseGit, Jenkins would be an added advantage

Responsibilities

·     Develop, maintain and provide periodic status reporting of the project plan including schedule, milestones to project and leadership team

·     Participating in the development of system design and implementation tasks

Producing and adhering to Software development life cycle, quality process, documentation

·     Perform software testing
