Senior Backend PHP Developer (Full Remote)

We are looking for a Senior Backend PHP Developer to join the journey of a fast-growing and innovative SaaS software company.

Their solution enables organizations to quickly build cloud and mobile business applications, helping accelerate digital transformation across multiple industries. Reporting directly to the CTO, you will play a key role in the evolution and scalability of the platform.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Designing, developing, and maintaining critical backend features powering the SaaS platform
• Driving technical discussions and contributing to architectural decisions
• Improving system quality, performance, security, scalability, and reliability
• Bringing new ideas, challenging existing practices, and helping elevate engineering standards across the team
• Collaborating closely with product and engineering stakeholders in an agile environment
• Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and technical innovation

About You:

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of professional backend development experience
• Strong expertise in PHP development, including both native PHP and Laravel
• Solid experience with relational and NoSQL databases (MySQL/MariaDB, NoSQL)
• Strong understanding of Linux environments, cloud infrastructure, and scalable backend architectures

Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tooling:

• GitLab
• Docker
• Jenkins
• Unit testing
• OpenStack
• Knowledge of JavaScript is a plus

Fluent French and professional English are required
