Job Summary

Our global client is seeking a Head of Manufacturing Go-To-Market (Japan) who combines manufacturing and supply chain sector credibility with deep enterprise technology expertise.

This strategic role translates manufacturing and operational realities into powerful platform workflows, repeatable GTM plays, and field-ready assets. Acting as an executive-level door opener and trusted advisor through the technical win, you will spend approximately 60% of your time in customer-facing engagements (Executive Business Centers, pipeline creation, and priority account progression). The remainder of the role is dedicated to shaping product/industry strategy and driving field enablement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Executive Engagements: Own the executive presence in Executive Business Center (EBC) engagements, industry forums, and roundtables. Lead the narrative and create compelling content that connects our global client's platform capabilities to the strategic priorities of manufacturing leaders.
  • Drive Pipeline Growth: Generate net-new pipeline (measured via in-quarter NNACV) by bringing operationally grounded, solution-level expertise into conversations with industry executives and senior leaders.
  • Accelerate Deal Lifecycles: Partner with account executives to progress the pipeline, infusing deep industry expertise into account strategies. Highlight business value and competitive differentiation to shorten deal cycles, staying highly engaged through the technical win.
  • Frame Solution Architecture: Apply practical manufacturing and supply chain knowledge directly to the enterprise platform. Collaborate with solution consultants and product teams to frame demonstrations and proof-of-concept (POC) work, taking ownership of the business case behind them.
  • Shape Product Strategy: Partner closely with internal product teams and technology partners to shape the product and solution strategy for the manufacturing sector. Feed market signals and deal-level patterns directly into roadmap decisions.
  • Manage Strategic Partnerships: Own the manufacturing-specific partner GTM motion in Japan. Develop co-build and co-sell strategies with a focused set of strategic Systems Integrators (SIs), advisory firms, and technology partners.
  • Develop Scalable Sales Plays: Create repeatable, insight-driven industry sales plays and field-ready content (including positioning, use case narratives, and competitive tools) that empower local sales teams to execute independently.
  • Analyze and Optimize Business Performance: Track the regional business against core goals, using data-driven insights to shape priorities and reinforce high-yield actions across the sales field.
