Contract & License Manager (m/f/d)

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for managing and monitoring contract- and license-related topics within the IT transformation program as part of the carve-out
• Review, manage, and track contracts with implementation partners, service providers, and software vendors
• Ensure transparency regarding contract terms, scope of services, deadlines, and commercial obligations
• Manage and document license-related requirements in the IT environment
• Coordinate with procurement, legal, IT, project management, and external partners on contract-related matters
• Support contract amendments, addenda, scope delineations, and escalations
• Identify commercial risks and develop appropriate mitigation measures
• Contribute to budget and cost control related to contracts and licensing
• Prepare overviews, reports, and decision documents for management and program leadership
• Ensure audit-proof documentation of all contract- and license-related materials

Requirements:

• Several years of experience in contract and license management, ideally in IT or SAP projects
• Solid knowledge of managing service provider contracts and software licensing models
• Experience collaborating with procurement, legal, IT, and project organizations
• Strong understanding of commercial risks, contract content, and scope delineation
• Strong negotiation skills and a professional approach when dealing with internal and external stakeholders
• Ability to present complex contract and licensing topics clearly and in a target audience–appropriate manner
