K2 Partnering Solutions is proud to announce our recognition as one of the Top Most Loved Workplaces® for LGBTQ+ employees. This accolade underscores our commitment to creating a welcoming and supportive environment where every individual can thrive, regardless of their sexual orientation or gender identity.

Our journey to inclusivity

Our high rating among the Top Most Loved Workplaces® for LGBTQ+ employees is the result of a collective effort across all levels of the organization. From comprehensive diversity training programs to policies that ensure equal opportunities and protections, we have strived to create a workplace where everyone feels valued and respected.

One example of how we’ve incorporated employee feedback to make our workplace more inclusive is through the revision of our parental leave policies. This process began in Brazil, prompted by a suggestion from one of our employees, leading us to extend parental leave benefits to same-sex couples. Following this, we implemented similar changes in all countries where parental leave legislation is applicable. Additionally, we updated all language related to parental leave to be non-gender specific whenever possible.

The impact of our efforts

Our recognition as a Top Most Loved Workplace® for LGBTQ+ employees is not just an accolade but a reflection of the positive experiences of our team members. 

In 2023, 15% of our workforce stated that they are a member of the LGBTQ+ community. Employees have shared stories of feeling genuinely supported and valued at K2 Partnering Solutions, highlighting the real-world impact of our policies and culture.

One of these came from our Senior Account Executives in São Paulo, Jean Calixto, who noted: “I had always been a little afraid to talk about my personal life at work, but when I started at K2 I felt comfortable. K2’s diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives ensure a safe and friendly environment, in which I can be who I am.”

Looking forward

While we are proud of our achievements, we recognize that the journey towards complete inclusivity is ongoing.
