Our Three Pillars of Corporate Social Responsibility

Our CSR strategy revolves around three core pillars: Our People and the Community, Our Environment and Governance and Ethics. These pillars reflect our holistic approach to creating a positive impact both within and beyond our organization.

  1. Our people and our community
    • Diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I): Our DE&I initiatives also focus on gender, ethnic and racial diversity, LGBTQIA+ inclusion, and support for professionals with disabilities.
    • Community engagement: Our Charity Day policy allows employees to dedicate a day to volunteer for meaningful causes. In 2023, this initiative resulted in record contributions, including substantial donations and volunteer hours supporting various global causes.
  2. Our environment
    • Green cloud computing: We have embraced green cloud computing to reduce our carbon footprint. By optimizing our data centers and migrating to energy-efficient cloud solutions, we aim to minimize environmental impact.
    • Plastic-free initiative: We are committed to eliminating single-use plastics within our operations. This initiative has significantly reduced our plastic waste, promoting a more sustainable work environment.
    • Zero waste commitment: Our zero waste policy focuses on recycling, reusing, and reducing waste wherever possible. This commitment extends to all our global offices.
  3. Governance and ethics
    • Code of conduct: Our comprehensive Employee and Supplier Code of Conduct ensures that all our partners adhere to the highest ethical standards. This includes strict policies against harassment, discrimination, and unethical practices.

AI integration: As we embrace emerging technologies like artificial intelligence, we are committed to using them ethically and responsibly. AI is not only transforming our operations but also enhancing our CSR and ESG efforts.

Highlights from our Corporate Social Responsibility report

  • Women in leadership: We are proud to report that women hold 33% of our Executive Board positions and 34% of our Director-level roles, positioning K2 as a leader in gender diversity within the tech industry.
  • Global Culture Week: Our 2023 Global Culture Week focused on CSR, with employees participating in activities such as volunteering, sustainability workshops, and donation drives. These efforts showcased our collective commitment to making a positive difference.
  • Environmental initiatives: From our Cycle to Work program to our Paperless Initiative, we have implemented several green programs aimed at reducing our environmental footprint and promoting sustainable practices.

Participation in the Accenture Supplier Summit

K2 recently had the opportunity to participate in the Accenture Supplier Summit, where we joined a panel discussion about turning sustainable intentions into impactful actions. This platform allowed us to share our strategic sustainability objectives and our commitment to reducing waste, decreasing our carbon footprint, and supporting sustainable growth. Engaging with industry leaders and peers at the summit reinforced our dedication to implementing effective and impactful sustainability practices.
