The Irish tower can be found in the city’s vibrant Silicone Dock, heralding the next stage of both Salesforce’s evolution and Dublin’s development as the home of thriving business.

The move is planned for mid-2021 and with 430,000 square feet at its disposal, the target is to employ an extra 1,500 people Salesforce Dublinin the next five years, mirroring Salesforce’s commitment to continued growth. The company’s desire to help boost the local economy is further supported by Salesforce.org, which is the philanthropic sector of their business. Working with Leo Varadkar, the Taoiseach (Irish Prime Minister), Salesforce announced a $1million grant to Educate Together, which is a non-profit network of equality-based primary and second-level schools in Ireland. There will also be an event space in the new office called the ‘Ohana Floor’ which will not only be open for Salesforce customers and partners but also use on weeknights and weekends for not-for-profit organisations and local community groups.

Salesforce will also be supporting local sustainability with its new office. The company has named the project as, “one of the most sustainable building projects to-date” in Dublin. The office will use entirely renewable energy, with onsite solar panels. Not only this, but there will be an innovative green roof that will capture rainwater, from which carbon and filtered water will be sourced. Additionally, the terrace will act as an accessible green space in the heart of the city. It will be a Net Zero Energy building, which means it will produce as much energy as it uses over the course of a year. It will be one of the first buildings of this kind in Dublin.
