  • The solution need\ed to have a flexible pricing model in case of changes to the project scope.
  • K2 had originally placed an interim IT Director. This professional was part of the vendor selection process once the client had decided to move forward with a implementation. They recommended that the client to use K2 Partnering Solutions, rather than a traditional System Integrator.

  • The initial project was scheduled to begin in April 2020 but was put on hold due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The project officially began in May 2020.
  • We had the added challenge of the entire K2 and client project team working remotely for the implementation. Additional challenges for the May start date were changes in scope from the original blueprint and a reduced timeline.
  • Our project team consisted of a Solutions Architect/Project Manager, Technical Architect, Business Analyst and Developer. 
  • Our consultants were also responsible for providing training about the features and functionality of Salesforce to internal users. With no internal experts within the client’s IT project team, an additional challenge was to train the IT department on Salesforce development and configuration.
